This video provides an overview of the CCTV project, the hardware used and it's modes and capabilities.
HARDWARE
The project consists of a Raspberry Pi, NOIR Camera and 128GB Samsung EVO SD card. Optionally a hardware IR detector and sounder can be added.

The guide progresses from a clean OS installed on the SD card, to installing required packages. Making configuration settings. And getting the device to start recording automatically on boot up.
